The X-Caddis is a legendary pattern, Developed in the early 1980's from the creativity of Craig Mathews and John Juracek at Blue Ribbon Flies in West Yellowstone, Montana. Inspired by the subtle emergence of Caddisflies, this fly pattern features a trialing shuck and a buoyant deer hair wing, creating a delicate yet highly visible silhouette that rides naturally in the surface film.
