The Sparkle Dun is a contemporary classic, first developed in the late 1980's by Craig Mathews at Blue Ribbon Flies in West Yellowstone, Montana. Inspired by the prolific Mayfly hatches of the Madison River, this fly is designed with a slender Z-Lon shuck and buoyant Deer hair wing, giving it a natural, lifelike presentation on the water. Whether dead drifting through riffles, runs, or slow moving pools, it's a go-to pattern for discerning trout anglers.
Every Fly from HatchLab FlyWorks is tied using carefully selected premium materials and individually inspected for Consistency, Durability, and Performance on the water.
Lab Crafted. River Tested.
