Inspired by the classic Parachute Adams, Carlson replaced the traditional grey body with a vibrant purple dubbing, creating a highly visible pattern that consistently fools trout even when no obvious purple insects are present. Whether matching a light mayfly hatch or prospecting unfamiliar water, the Purple Haze has earned its reputation as one of the most dependable searching patterns ever designed.
